Product · Tender Radar

Government tenders that fit your business.

Hundreds of tenders are open on GETS at any time, and most have nothing to do with you. Tender Radar reads each new one against a description of your business and emails you only the ones worth opening, with a sentence on why.

For small New Zealand firms that bid, or want to start bidding, for council and government work. Free while in pilot.

§ 01 · How it works

Describe it once.
Read only what fits.

The scoring is done by AI against your own description, so it gets better the more plainly you say what you do and don't do.

1.

Tell us what you do

A few sentences in your own words: the work you want, the size of job you can take on, the regions you cover, and the work you would never bid for.

2.

We read every new tender

Each weekday morning we pick up every tender newly listed on GETS, the government’s tender site, and score each one from 0 to 10 for how well it fits your business.

3.

You open only the good ones

Tenders that clear your bar arrive in one email, each with its buyer, closing date, a one-line reason it fits, and a link straight to it on GETS. No match, no email.

§ 02 · Good to know

A shortlist,
not a verdict.

The score comes from the tender's public listing: its title, buyer, categories, regions and summary. It does not read the tender documents, which only GETS members can download. Treat a high score as "open this one", and read the documents before you decide to bid.

Your first email covers every tender open on GETS on the day you join. After that you hear from us on weekday mornings, and only when something new clears your bar. You can change your description, your regions or how strict the bar is from any email.

You still bid through GETS. Registering there is free, and it is where the documents, the questions to the buyer and the submission all live.

Tender details come from GETS, which is run by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. Tender Radar is a Salix product and is not part of, or endorsed by, MBIE or GETS.

§ 03 · Start

Free while
in pilot.

There is no card to enter and nothing to install. Tell us about your business and confirm your email, and your first list arrives a few minutes later. If it is wrong about you, reply and say so: in the pilot, a person reads every reply.

Write it the way you would tell a colleague. The more specific you are about the work you want and the work you don't, the better the list.
